Visit the gemstone mines of your choice in a private Safari.

Tanzania offers a large selection of gemstones and mining sites. An experienced geologist & gemmologist Mr. Nakara S. Matemu will take you to the mines of your choice or recommend you an itinerary based on recent production in the mines. Famous mines or new mining sites are available à la carte. This is for small groups of 2 up to 3 people. You will travel with a 4x4 car on rough roads and accomodation may be basic on some places. |

The trip may last for the duration of a weekend or up to a full week according to your wishes. Your cost will be US$ 270.- per day and per person. Included is: the guide, 4x4 car, gasolin, mining fees, hotel and food. Not included : the required business visa, entry fees of National Parks or the controlled area of Merelani. The export application cost and royalty for exporting your stones. We operate in collaboration with the local miners and by invitation of the mine owners. You are welcome to join these educational field trips. |
